FORMER CHAMPION'S CHARITY CHALLENGE |
At 5.00am on 20th May former Scottish Junior World Silver medallist Garry Mackay began a gruelling 3 day, 300 mile challenge. Travelling by bike, kayak and on foot, partnered by fellow firefighter Lee Peyton Garry travelled through all the Western Isles, under human power only, in 57hours and 10mins, breaking their 60 hour target.
This massive feat is being attempted in order to raise money for CLICSargent the charity which supports children with cancer, and their families. Their target is £25,000. Read about their progress on www.300miles.org, and make a donation to their fund.
